I have some exciting news! I have recently encountered a new friend, and she is by no means shy! She is so bold, yet friendly, that I wanted to make a special part of my blog, just for her! Introducing, Honey!

     Her section is located in the “Beary Adventures!” section!

  This one, as I recall hearing, was named Hitty Grace. (The one above)

This little mischief maker was Antonia, if I remember correctly.

Together, they began to roam around my dollhouse. All seemed well, and it seemed as if they only wanted a tour of my house, but I was terribly wrong. I was beginning to relax, when, to my horror and surprise…

They started to destroy my house!  Painting, and spilling tea EVERYWHERE! I began to feel my face burn. Why did I dare let them destroy my house?! I calmed down and waited, hoping to find that they’d stop, pick up their mess, and GO!!!!!!  Apparantly, my “Fairy Godmother” decided NOT to grant my wish. They did stop and wind down, however.

“Okay, little Antonia. Time for a story!”

“Yippie! Tell me about the legendary SNOW!!!” cried Antonia.

I rolled my eyes. I had already been in snow a thousand times before! Or, at least once. As the story dragged on and on, I hoped more and more they’d leave. But nope! Not a chance. After the story, they left my kitchen/dining room, but headed to my BEDROOM!!! Oh no! And to my deep and utter horror, they did this:

I guess I’ll have to find some other place to sleep! What a terrible, amazing, yet wonderful day!

I introduced Annie and the Teef to Mrs. Lynn, and she greeted them, exclaiming, “Why! Some new students in our class? How lovely!” Just then, Miss Mackle came in, and she rushed to the class. “Thanks for watching the class, Lynn!” She said to Mrs. Lynn. “No problem! See you all at reading buddies!” replied Mrs. Lynn.

We all waved happily, and class began. “Good morning, class!” exclaimed Miss Mackle. “Good morning, Miss Mackle!” we replied. Miss Mackle spotted me in the crowd of kids, and smiled. “Phoebe, it’s nice to have you back! Were you sick? Hurt?” “Sick, ma’am. I have some new students to introduce.” I replied. “Why! How nice! Phoebe, could you tell us the new people, and I’ll have them come up front.” Miss Mackle told me. “Okay,” I croaked, “This is Annie, and the small things up front are the Milk Teef, Toofless and Chipwell.” Miss Mackle motioned for them to come up, and they did.

Once they were introduced, class begun. First, Miss Mackle made an announcement that the next day was picture day, and that these pictures would go in the yearbook. Then, it was time to read the book, “The Relatives Came”.

After the book, we had Reading Buddies with Mrs. Lynn.

The younger kids (Toofless, Chipwell, Goldie, and Peggy Sue) only read one book. The older kids (Me, Annie, Ann,  and Elizabeth) read two books. Peggy Sue and Goldie are Miss Mackle’s nieces. Anyway, after reading buddies, we had lunch. I had some fruit!

After lunchm Miss Mackle called, “Recess! Have fun! I’ll be out there in a couple minutes!” we rushed outside into the fresh spring breeze. Then, we began to play.

Until, we got tired and began to lie down. Even Miss Mackle joined in the fun!

After a while of lying down, Miss Mackle said, “Come on now, dears. You only have a little while longer. Why don’t you go over there and play with those toys?” The entire class agreed, and we rushed to the toys. Ann, apparantly, had her own ideas about playing.

                 Soon, we heard the school bell ring. “Time for science, and then Math!” Called Miss Mackle. We all ran inside, and Miss Mackle began squeezing lemons for science. “Today,” she explained, “We’re making lemonade! Each of you get a small cup, and then we’ll do Math.

After the yummy lemonade, Miss Mackle taught us our times tables. “Okay, class. Two times two is… Phoebe, can you tell us?” “Four,” I answered, “Two times two equals four!” “Very good, Phoebe! School’s out, kids!” Exclaimed Miss Mackle.

“Here, Miss Mackle,” Whisperes Annie quietly, “Here are some flowers for you! Thank you for being my teacher!” “Oh, Thank you!” replies Miss Mackle. I motion to Annie to come with me.

“Won’t you three come to my house for an after school snack?” I asked. “Of course!” replied Toofless, Chipwell, and Annie.

Wasn’t today a lovely day at school?

“Isn’t there any decent food to eat? I’m hungry! We haven’t found a single morsel to eat since we got here two nights ago! I wonder if our girl has forgotten about us.” said a small voice. “Are you sure this is the right house? I’m pretty sure that it was six houses over!” replied another. “Yes,” responded the first, “I’m positive this is the right one. Don’t you remember when we saw this table here?” “Kinda. I can’t be sure, though. I guess we’ll know when we see her.”

Now, Annie and I were very curious. What were these tiny white creatures who were talking about Katie? We just had to get a closer look. “C’mon,” I told Annie, “Let’s climb up this chair. I’ll give you a boost!”

Meanwhile, the odd white things were causing some trouble, not purposely, as we soon found out. “Ah ha! Here’s some food! Not quite the first thing on my menu, but still better than nothing! Give me a boost, Chipwell!”

“You’re too heavy! Try to get up yourself!”

“Ugh, why do I always have to do the work? Oh, fine! Hmm, let’s see. Nuts, nuts, and more nuts! Nothing good!”

At that time, Annie and I were just starting to pull ourselves up the chair. We had decided that Annie would do the boosting, not me.

Okay, now lift me up!

Almost there!

“I’m up! Now I’ll pull you, Annie! Grab my hand!” I shouted.

After we had gotten up, I was determined to stop those trouble makers. They had brought the scolding in me!

“Hey! Why are you making this racket?!” I exclaimed. “W-w-w-we just wanted to g-g-g-get s-s-s-some f-f-food!” replied one. “Y-y-yeah! W-w-we just got here on Friday, and we were scared that we were in the wrong house. W-w-we didn’t see you when we fell out.” said the other. Suddenly it dawned on me. “You’re teeth! But whoose? Katie’s? She lost all of her teeth a while ago!” I screeched. “Actually, we prefer to be called milk teef! But, yes, you’ve got the idea. We have missed our girl, and we wanted to come back! Is she here?” I shook my head, but happily explained, “She’s not here, she’s at church! She’ll be back soon, though. Oh, and you might want to keep it down a little. Katie’s brother is sick, and he’s home with her Grandma! So, we don’t want to get caught. They’ve never caught us moving, but Katie has. That’s okay, cause she’s our owner. Hey, do you want to come live with us?” “Well,” said one, “First, we’d like to introduce ourselves.”

“I’m Toofless,” said the one one the right, “And she’s Chipwell.” “Hi!” exclaimed Chipwell.

Wow! I met three friends in just two days! That’s gotta be a record!

“Oh, I guess it doesn’t matter. I suppose you could check if Madison has sent some mail.” sighed Elizabeth. So, off I went to the *Great Outdoors* to check for mail. Actually, I had some ideas of my own. hehehehehe! I prepared to leap off the dresser, but Elizabeth shouted, “Dear me, Phoebe! Do be more careful! You know how I feel about leaping off the dresser!” I rolled my eyes and sighed, because ever since I had met Elizabeth, she had acted like my mother. “Oh, Elizabeth! You know I’m old enough to do things myself! I know what I’m doing, and I don’t like being told how to do it!” I replied crossly. But Elizabeth would not budge. I grumbled, and climbed slowly down the dresser, and I was thankful that the Westview girl, Katie, had left her dresser drawer open. But I would’ve jumped anyway if Beth hadn’t taken good care of me during my sick days.

Okay, I can’t stop now! I can do it! Just a little further…

(Grunting and struggling)

Aaaaaaaah! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!

Oof!! Ouch!

Argh! Couldn’t Katie have put the dollhouse just a little closer to the ground??? I better hurry! I kept running until……

Oh, goodie! She left it open! Not much, but just enough for me to squeeze through it! Now to walk…

Finally! The room that leads outside! I skipped all the trouble I went through to open that door, but I got outside eventually.

Ah! The Great Outdoors! It took FOREVER just to get here, and there’s still some more walking to the mailbox! But first, for some of my own ideas…

Ah! This soft, cool grass is much more comfy than that frigid snow! Now to sit down!

As I look around joyfully, I suddenly spot the mailbox, and something, or someone else.

I sigh as my peaceful world has been wrecked by the sound of Elizabeth’s voice, saying, “Phoebe dear, you were gone a long time! You know how I prefer you to be home before dark. If possible, before the Westview’s supper!” Ugh! But then I smile, realizing how generous Beth’s been to me. She might be a pain sometimes, but I do love her company! I pick up a stick and start walking.

Suddenly, I spot a girl. I smile, and sit next to her. “Hi,” I say, “I’m Phoebe!” “Annie,” the girl murmers. I tell her, “I’ll be right back. I have to get the mail.” Annie nods, and I rush to the mailbox.

Oh, Yippie! There’s a letter! Let me get it out, and read it to Annie!

Here’s what it said:

It’s a little blurry, so I’ll “translate” it. It says,

Dear Phoebe,

I am in town, and will arrive soon.

Love,

Anyway, I read Annie the letter, and she loved it. “I can’t wait to meet her!” I knew Annie was a shy and lonely girl, so I asked, “Do you want to be my friend?” She agreed happily, and that’s how I met Annie. And yes, this DID happen today!

Oh, please! Do hope I get better! I must we well enough to care for Madison!  Hope to hear from you soon!

Today was my Hitty Meeting! The wonderful goodies were sent to us from a special friend. This is how the meeting went from my perspective. The meeting started with a small lecture/speech by Hitty Hannah. “Today,” she began, “We will start by opening a lovely Valentine’s Day package sent by Kimberly!”

                       I rose my hand slowly. “Yes, Hitty Phoebe? What do you have for us?”

 I stood up carefully, and made my way toward the front of the meeting. “Umm….well,” I began, gathering my thoughts at my own pace. “I just wanted to say that Kimberly was real kind to give us these dresses and goodies for Valentine’s Day. In fact, the dress that I am wearing is from Kimberly. So is yours, Hitty Hannah!” By the end of my *speech*, I had felt much better.

“Well, that was a very nice speech, Pheebs! You’re right about those dresses! All of the dresses that we Hitty scouts are wearing are from Kimberly! I think that we should give a nice, long round of applause for Kimberly!” With that, the meeting was finished. I happily mustered up my things, said my farewells, and headed home.

Once again, thanks for those dresses, Kimberly!

This was one of my mischievous accomplishments. It took quite a long time to find a way up there!

  After my *Climbing the Tree* adventure, I decided to try something no other doll has tried, but many kids love it. It’s the legendary *Snow Angel*!!!!

I would have gladly done more, such as snow men, but I was scared down to my very pegs that I would break myself. I immediately trudged inside, my jacket full of snow. In order to warm myself, I decided to combine my favorite meals into one big feast, tea, cookies, and chicken soup! MMMMM-MMMMM! The whole block looked so lovely from my point of view! Let it continue to snow!!!

                                    ”Madison?” I thought. I hadn’t heard from my cousin in years! How could she have gotten my address? “Well? Don’t you want to read it?” Hitty Elizabeth asked as I stepped forward, completely lost in thought.

                                    I took the letter in my hands and read it thoroughly. My eyes grew as big as *Doll* quarters in disbelief. I scanned the letter top to bottom a second time to confim what I was reading. “Great Scott! My cousin Madison is coming over for a visit! I haven’t checked my mail in a week, so she might be here any day!” I exclaimed.  

 I ran from the room without even saying goodbye to Elizabeth. “Umm, Goodbye?” Elizabeth said… to my footprints perhaps? I flung open the closet door. “My cousin will need a spare dress. Which one?” I asked myself. Before picking a dress, I mustn’t be messy and put the letter by my bedside.

Then, I searched through my closet for the perfet dress. Finally, I picked a lovely spring dress. I think it’s perfect. Do you?

  I think it is quite rude to invite overnight company without offering them a plushed toy to sleep with. I managed to find an elegant doll for her.

Oh, I can’t wait till she arrives! What next? Ooh! I’d best mop, for it is also rude to have a filthy house when company arrives. I looked at the clock and exclaimed, “I have choir soon! I better hurry if I want to do some exploring before singing in front of the whole neighborhood!

All finished! I better head to choir. Like I said, I’m planning on doing a little exploring before choir. So off I go! First stop, the front window, to get a glimpse of this lovely snow.

Next stop, the Christmas tree, before the Westviews take it down. It seems such a pity to take down a Christmas tree as lovely as this!

Next stop, the lap harp to practice my current song.

Third stop, Choir. The song we sang was “Hark the Harold Angels sing”

Forth stop, Sunday School. I was only there for a few minutes to be congratulated of my lovely singing. I have to admit, it was a little overwhelming. Last stop, HOME!!!! I decided to take a nap to refresh myself before continuing my day. I wish you all a Happy New Year and Valentine’s Day! I promise to write blog posts, at least more often.

First, I get up in the morning, about 3am. Pretty early for a doll, huh?

Wakey, Wakey, sleepy head!!! Oh, all right, I’ll get up.

Yawn!!! Next, I go to have my breakfast. I usually prefer a *breakfast* of tea. Sometimes I’m lucky and get cookies, too!

Aw, shucks! No cookies today? Oh, well. I like my *Apple Cinnamon Tea* alone.

Mmmmmmmmm! The rest is pretty boring. I just wait…

…And WAIT until the Westview girl comes for me. Okay, when is she coming?

Finally!!! Okay, don’t squeeze me too hard. I know you love me, but…

Umm… you’re pushing the limits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AFTER all that, my day is usually over. So, what do you think? I’m sure you’re completely glad that your not a doll, huh? That happens EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! So, never look at dolls or toys like, “Man, I’m sure this useless toy won’t mind if I leaved them in the attic.” Do me a favor, don’t do that! That makes this WHOLE day of mine even worse! Phew! After that post, I’m sure none of you will look at your toys the same again!!
